SYSTEM SUPPORT SPECIALIST
Pacific Resource Credit Union located in the Los Angeles area is seeking a System Support Specialist, with strong core processor experience (preferably Harland Ultradata), including familiarity with entering parameters on new account products, setting controls, running reports, exporting/importing data and general administrative knowledge. The person we are looking for must also keep the network computing system operating efficiently and has ability to troubleshoot software and hardware issues.
Major duties and responsibilities:
• Assist in the effective administration of company networks such as setup and deletion of users and altering access levels.
• Assist on installations, supports, and manages the hardware/software network components.
• Respond to and develop solutions for component failures and basic technical problems in all of these areas to deliver a sound and stable computing infrastructure.
• Assure that I.S. standards for control, security, and recoverability are understood and followed.
• Coordinate with other I.S. Technical Support staff to assure that appropriate I.S. computing standards are implemented and maintained.
• Manage software upgrades to assure compliance with standards and control procedures.
• Develop and test data communications procedures for links to members and data services.
• Develop and test interface file handling procedures for data moving between platforms, members, and media.
• Run sweeps, processes delinquency notices for the loan department, and performs quality control of the notices to the members.
• Perform exports to Bancvue and Harland.
• Provide server support.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:
This position requires computer training, experience in Ultradata core processing and a minimum of five years of PC hardware, technical and network/data center operations experience.
