The Not-For-Profit Option

Pacific Resource Credit Union is a non-profit organization, and has been an integral part of Los Angeles and surrounding communities since 1936. We care deeply about our community; this is our home, as well as yours. As such, our purpose is to provide every possible advantage and option to contribute to your prosperity. Unlike banks, we do not have stockholders to answer to -- just you, our fellow members.

Our History

Pacific Resource Credit Union was founded on June 6, 1936 as Rio Grande General Office Employees Federal Credit Union. Over the years we grew to serve employees and family members of what eventually became Atlantic Richfield (ARCO).

As time went by, our members wished to offer the benefits of their credit union to more people. With that resolve came our new name - Pacific Resource Credit Union. We have become the credit union of many of California's local government employees and leading corporations.
